On July 4, Xia Baolong, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, led a delegation to visit the Huadong Instrument Factory in Yueqing City for an inspection and guidance tour.
At the factory, the delegation—led by Xia Baolong—learned in detail about the company's history, corporate culture, production, and sales. They also visited the production workshops to inspect the product assembly lines and the R&D center.
Factory Director Wu Ben provided a detailed overview of the company's development and future prospects. Huadong Instrument is a specialized manufacturer with over two decades of experience in the design, development, and production of temperature measurement instruments, components, tooling equipment, and hot-runner mold heaters. The company supplies a wide range of complete thermocouple and thermal resistance units and components to industries such as petroleum, chemicals, iron and steel, metallurgy, electric power, defense, machinery, and light industry.
Following the visit, Xia Baolong expressed his hope that the company would continue to refine its operations and excel within the instrument industry, thereby strengthening the sector. The delegation was accompanied by Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee Secretary Chen Yixin, Wenzhou Mayor Chen Jinbiao, Wenzhou Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee Deputy Director and Yueqing Municipal Party Committee Secretary Pan Xiaozheng, Yueqing Mayor Lin Xiaofeng, and Shifan Subdistrict officials including Party Working Committee Secretary Li Hai and Director Huang Shuxian.
