Supplied as straight, standard-length rods, these flexible hot runner heaters can be bent locally during installation to fit specific slot configurations and cavity layouts; the straight sections ensure stable heat transfer, while the flexible corrugated sections accommodate complex routing, balancing installation neatness with adaptability. An inner copper heating core is encased in an outer 304/316L stainless steel corrugated sheath (with optional stainless steel braided mesh or high-temperature resistant coatings available), and an 8.5mm diameter option is offered. Designed to withstand compression, vibration, and friction, they resist breakage or circuit failure even under the long-term vibration conditions typical of production equipment. Installed snugly within mold slots for surface-contact heat transfer, they minimize heat loss compared to standard coil heaters, resulting in significant energy savings during prolonged use. High-temperature magnesium oxide insulation combined with ceramic end seals provides resistance to moisture, oil, and corrosive gases released during injection molding, ensuring insulation integrity remains undiminished in harsh operating environments. Applications include hot runner systems (manifold and straight-slot nozzle heating) and embedded heating for injection mold inserts, sprue bushings, and small mold cavities.
