Paired assistance and "sending warmth" activities to express condolences to old revolutionary areas

As the Spring Festival approaches, Shifan Subdistrict organized a symposium on the morning of February 1st in Furong Town, focusing on paired assistance and a "sending warmth" initiative to offer comfort to a revolutionary base area. Attendees included Fan Xiaodong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Head of the Publicity Department; Yu Xiexian, Deputy Director of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee; Vice Mayor Wu Zhendi; members of Furong Town's leadership teams; heads of paired assistance units and enterprises; and Wu Ben, Director of the East China Instrument Factory.

That afternoon, Factory Director Wu Ben once again joined a group of "philanthropic entrepreneurs"—organized by the Shifan Chamber of Commerce—on a visit to Wanzhai Village in Tiancheng Subdistrict. They conducted a Spring Festival outreach activity, extending New Year's blessings and holiday greetings to impoverished households and elderly residents living alone, while also presenting them with gifts and monetary aid.

Wu Ben, Director of the Huadong Instrument and Meter Factory and Vice President of the Shifan Branch of the Yueqing Charity Federation, has long been dedicated to public welfare. He stated, "While striving to grow and strengthen the enterprise, we must actively shoulder social responsibilities, care for vulnerable groups, and contribute our share to poverty alleviation efforts."
