Amidst the brilliant autumn scenery and refreshing golden breezes—a time when the sweet fragrance of osmanthus fills the air—East China Instrument organized a team-building event themed "Soaring on Dreams, Creating Glory Together" on November 16–17. The aim was to enrich employees' lives outside of work, foster a sense of belonging and happiness, strengthen team cohesion and unity, and cultivate a corporate culture defined by solidarity and a positive spirit. On the morning of November 16, all employees boarded a bus to Hangzhou, embarking on a joyful two-day journey. The first stop was Songcheng (Song Dynasty Town), a place that promises to "give you a thousand years of history in a single day." That afternoon, the team enjoyed various attractions such as the "Tossing the Embroidered Ball" matchmaking reenactment, the *Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio* haunted house, and the bustling "Market Street." They also watched the 5D immersive drama *The Great Earthquake*, which vividly recreates the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake in Yingxiu, Sichuan; some colleagues even volunteered to take part in the performance, experiencing the intensity of the disaster firsthand. A highlight was the spectacular show *Songcheng Eternal Love*, which seemed to transport us across time and space into Hangzhou’s history. Through innovative staging, it portrayed the hardships of the ancient Liangzhu people, the grandeur of the Song Imperial Palace, the fierce battles of the Yue Family Army, and the timeless legends of the Butterfly Lovers and the Legend of the White Snake. The performance brilliantly showcased elements like silk, tea, and the misty, rainy charm of the Jiangnan region, delivering a powerful visual and emotional impact that made us feel as though we were truly living in the Song Dynasty. In the evening, colleagues explored Hefang Street—Hangzhou's famous thoroughfare—together. The street was lively and packed with tourists and a dazzling array of goods, naturally sparking our enthusiasm for shopping. The second day was dedicated to visiting West Lake, a place renowned as a "paradise on earth." We strolled along the Su Causeway by the lake, feeling the gentle breeze and watching the ripples on the emerald water. As we walked, we passed iconic spots such as "Lotuses Swaying in the Breeze at Quyuan Garden," "Viewing Fish at Flower Pond," "Willows and Orioles," and the "Broken Bridge." We fully appreciated the poetic charm captured in the famous lines, "If West Lake were compared to the beauty of Xizi, she would look lovely whether lightly made up or heavily adorned," taking in the breathtaking scenery along the way. The happy times flew by. This team-building event not only offered everyone a chance to fully relax and unwind but also allowed them to enjoy the beauty of nature and experience the joy of harmonious teamwork; it showcased the vitality of the Huadong Instrument team and strengthened the bonds between colleagues. We are confident that, moving forward, employees will dedicate themselves to their roles with renewed enthusiasm and contribute to the flourishing growth of Huadong.
