The safe and stable operation of power plant units relies heavily on precise and reliable temperature monitoring. From the boiler furnace and superheater to the main steam piping and the turbine itself, every temperature measurement point serves as a "nerve ending" for the unit's operation. However, many thermocouples currently in use across the industry suffer from issues such as rapid high-temperature drift, short service life, susceptibility to wear and corrosion, and poor vibration resistance—limitations stemming from their materials, manufacturing processes, and structural designs. These flaws not only lead to inaccurate readings and reduced combustion efficiency but also frequently trigger unplanned shutdowns, resulting in significant economic losses. Drawing on 40 years of expertise in the R&D and manufacturing of industrial temperature sensing components, our factory has developed a series of highly reliable thermocouples specifically engineered to resolve these issues at the source for the complex operating conditions of power plants.
We offer a comprehensive range of calibration types—including K, N, E, J, T, S, R, B, Pt100, and Pt1000—with electrode materials optimized for specific temperature ranges. Sheath materials are selected based on operating conditions, utilizing options such as 304/316L stainless steel, 310S high-temperature stainless steel, wear-resistant alloy steel, and Hastelloy to effectively withstand harsh environments characterized by high temperatures, abrasion, and corrosion. Critical wear zones undergo surface treatments—such as aluminizing or wear-resistant spray welding—which more than double the surface hardness and extend the service life against erosion and abrasion by three to five times. The protection tubes are manufactured using a seamless, one-piece forming process, eliminating welded joints; the terminal connections feature a dual high-pressure sealing structure capable of withstanding the high-pressure conditions found in power plant piping, thereby eliminating the risk of media leakage. We support various mounting methods—including threaded, flanged, and compression fitting connections—with strict dimensional tolerances to ensure easy installation and replacement, significantly reducing downtime for maintenance. Furthermore, we offer full customization of specifications, including insertion depth, diameter, calibration type, mounting method, wiring configuration, and explosion-proof rating.
