The solid-drilled thermowell is welded and sealed to the main equipment for fixation, serving to measure steam and water temperatures in power plant piping. Two structural configurations and installation methods are available to suit different operating pressure, temperature and flow velocity conditions. Featuring a separable thermowell structure and elastic compression design for sensing elements, these weld-in thermocouples and RTDs are equipped with a standard compact polished terminal head, with various optional terminal head styles for selection.
Key Features
1.Adopting mineral-insulated (MI) sensing elements, the product boasts excellent pressure resistance, superior vibration resistance, high operational stability and extended service life.
2.The elastic compression fit between the MI element and thermowell tip effectively shortens the thermal response time and further strengthens the overall vibration resistance of the sensor.
3.The large-capacity thermocouple head and optimized wiring structure ensure simple, convenient and highly reliable on-site wiring operations.
4.The separable structure of the main body and thermowell supports rapid replacement of temperature sensing elements without system shutdown, minimizing equipment downtime.
5.The integrally machined deep blind-hole thermowell features uniform wall thickness at the end. It completely avoids welding stress and intergranular corrosion risks, and delivers outstanding pressure and impact resistance. With stable and reliable long-term operation, it effectively guarantees the safe operation of power generation units.
6.The integrally drawn 650°C high-temperature MI platinum resistance element offers excellent vibration resistance and a high temperature measurement limit, fully meeting the high-precision and high-reliability main steam temperature measurement requirements of large-scale power units.
