These weld-in thermowell thermocouples and RTDs are equipped with solid-drilled thermowells that are welded to main equipment to achieve tight sealing. Developed for temperature measurement of steam and water in power plant piping, the sensors offer two structural designs and installation methods to accommodate different operating pressures, temperatures and flow velocities.
Featuring a separable thermowell structure and a spring-loaded positioning mechanism for sensing elements, the sensors are standardly fitted with an aluminum weatherproof thermocouple head, with various optional thermocouple head styles available for diverse application scenarios.
Key Features
1. Adopting mineral-insulated (MI) sheathed elements, the sensors boast excellent pressure resistance, superior vibration resistance, stable performance and extended service life.
2. The spring-loaded fit between the sensing element and thermowell tip effectively shortens thermal response time and further upgrades the overall vibration resistance of the sensor.
3. The large-capacity thermocouple head paired with an optimized wiring structure ensures simple, convenient and highly reliable on-site wiring connections.
4. The split design of the sensor body and thermowell allows fast replacement of sensing elements without system shutdown, ensuring continuous equipment operation.
5. The precision solid-drilled thermowell features uniform wall thickness at the measuring end. Free from welding stress and intergranular corrosion hazards, it delivers exceptional pressure and impact resistance, guaranteeing stable and reliable operation, long service life and safe operation of power generation units.
6. The integrally drawn high-temperature MI platinum RTD element with a withstand temperature of 650°C offers outstanding vibration resistance and high upper temperature limit, fully meeting the high-precision and high-reliability main steam temperature measurement requirements of large-scale power units.
